Studio 6 Suites - Tiffin, OH

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Mostly the staff. To put it mildly the woman owner is so unprofessional I don’t know how they are a running business. She yells at the guest like they are children. On multiple occasions she pointed her finger at me and told me I was no good. She try’s to force arm you into paying cash and if you pay online she will charge you more and say it’s for deposit . I’ve been her almost 2 months and she has charged me deposit 4 different times and never returns my deposits. When confronted acts like she doesn’t understand or she yells at you. They FALSE ADVERTISE A FREE BREAKFAST. There is no breakfast offered at all period. She has refused to let me switch rooms to a smaller room. She is just ridiculous. She has no business working with the public whatsoever.

Breakfast was coffee and bag of cereal. Nothing else. There were no spoons for bowl of cereal.

There was no hot water just the lukewarm in the bathroom. First room, where I was directed to had a were strong marijuana odor and I had to go back to the office to ask for another room. There were some issues with the room heater but I was able to get it going. Some guests were laud ,screaming in their room at night.

Walls dirty. One of the towels had stains on them. Bed was nicely made. Floor clean.

Extremely dirty. A lot of hairs found in the bed, stain which looked like blood on the sheets. Shower had no drain plug, and the bathroom sink barely drained. Not to mention I could barely get the door to close and there were dead insects in the hallway.

Where do I start, first the parking lot had not been salted and was very icy. The room was dark and dingy. The bed linens were stained and rough. The bathroom smelled musty, toilet barely flushed, water pressure was terrible. The floors were sticky. The heat barely worked( it was in the low 20s outside and felt about as cold inside) People all hours of the night slammed their doors and were very loud in the halls. Once we were able to fall asleep around 4am the noise started again at 530am and went on for an hour or more. The front seat was useless because it took almost 20 minutes before someone came to check us in and took even longer to check us out. There is a doorbell button to push which I did multiple times with no response and there is a number “if we stepped out please call” which just rang until it was automatically hung up. I called that number a good 5 or 6 times. The property manager lives on site and their child was running up and down the stairs. I asked if she knew where her parents were and she just ran off. I started calling out for assistance and nobody came. I went outside and finally found someone at the back of the property and she said just leave your key on the counter. I asked her for a receipt and she went into a room never to be seen again. I finally left. I called the property multiple times to ask for a refund or some sort of compensation due to the horrible experience and didn’t get an answer, imagine that. Finally I reached out to Travelocity.

room was outdated. at check in, gentleman very kind. he was training a female who was not very friendly. said "give me your credit card" vs. form of payment please? they signed me up for wyndham rewards program WITHOUT my consent. this is an invasion of privacy. toilet leaked, windown coverings broken. had to rig it to keep blinds closed. advertisement said breakfast, when asked at check in i was told no.

Upon arrival worker seemed to not know what he was doing. This was my 5th stay. I asked about breakfast and they no longer serve a warm breakfast. Shower faucet leaking bad. Room was very much unclean. I could see daylight all around the door and when someone came in the entrance the door would not close allowing cold air to come in. People came in about 1am and was loud, I could hear everything.

Beds were comfortable

The breakfast was almost nonexistent and the shower was VERY slippery! Ceiling had mold on it.
