Location is nice, room was ready on time

Multiple broken outlets, toilet broken

I been in this motel many times, always like the fact that all rooms have a little kitchen, clean, nice area in alameda, the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Even if I love this place needs remodeling, I had to ask a change of room cos the first one smells bad, have leaks at the restroom and the kitchen have a light that was always on, feels dangerous, the second one was better but the curtains in both rooms were dirty. Stuff in the rooms are getting old, internet is too slow.

Good location, spacious suite, everything worked OK: heater, tv, bed, shower… Nice terrace on lagoon.

Just the location. The location is nice because it’s near Southshore Center and the beach.

Everything. The whole property is in disrepair. The room was disgusting, filthy, had a bad smell and outdated. I could deal with it being outdated IF it were at least clean. Opening the slider does NOT help air out this place. The ONLY update they did to this place was the soft close toilet seat and possibly the NON working flat screen tv in the living room. The furniture was stained with lord knows what, the tables had glue or something stuck to the top, light switches and lights do not work, ac/heater in living room didn’t work. Spider webs in the bedroom, pain is chipped and scratched and dirty. Dry rot throughout the property, missing gutters with grass growing out of where a gutter should be. Weird sketchy people living there, curtains were filthy, I didn’t dare go check out the kitchen. I left all the lights on out of fear something would crawl out of the walls at night. The bathroom was gross. It’s hilarious they have those old school paper wraps on the toilet that says it was sanitized. There was hair on the floor, whose I don’t know. The bath tub was vomit inducing. I didn’t shower there nor change my clothes. I kept on the clothes I arrived with. The next day when I left, I bought a can of Lysol sprayed down everything from the bottom of my shoes to my entire suitcase. When I checked into my new hotel that shower never felt so good. Booking.com should really remove them or actually check these places out that they allow to use their site to book. It’s a scam because once you book you’re SOL. You’ve prepaid and they’ve got your money. Once you get to your room and you’re completely repulsed you’re stuck. Suck it or lose you money and go elsewhere. I opted to lose my money and bail out the final two days. It’s my fault for not reading reviews on multiple sites and for remembering what this place looked like back in the day. The sign has never changed and that’s the only thing they must maintain.

The cart that stayed in front of the door when we entered when we arrived, I had to move out of the way and then they moved it back right in front of the door.

The location was ok and parking was easy

The hotel was very dated, dirty, beds were old and very firm, heater was loud and barely worked....not staying again.

Great location close to Oakland airport and across from mall

Staff was very rude. Asked for set of towels as there were 3 people in one room and there were only 2 sets. Room wasn't ready at 530pm and check in was at 3 or 4pm. Lady at counter said we should have asked for it at check in if noticed we were short towels. We explained that we couldn't see the room because it wasn't ready and when we did notice and went to the counter there was a sign that said to check back later as no one was available. She was very argumentative and when she realized she was in the wrong she didn't apologize. Rooms are old and in desperate need of refurbishment. Closet door wouldn't open and rooms smelled faintly of urine.
