Comfort Inn Moline - Quad Cities

I would like to rate Comfort Inn Moline a 10 because I have stayed in it often for work. It’s in a quiet location, has reasonable room rates, is newly renovated, near to Target/starbucks/shopping. They have good breakfast options and homemade omelets on weekends. Rooms are extra clean, heating/AC works well isn’t broken or noisy, large TV, a modest pool & workout room and an overall quiet atmosphere. Most of the guests are adults.

My ONLY complaint about this hotel is the smell of smoke. :( I went home and triple washed all my belongings and bags. The same complaint was shared with me from a coworker.

The room was fairly clean. Over all the stay was good.

The location.

The bed was very uncomfortable. The hair blower did not work, and neither did the clock. I went to the front desk to ask for a hair dryer that worked. They wouldn't be able to replace it till later that day. I told her never mind, I needed it then, not later that day.

Pro: Check in was easy. Clean and quiet. Trouble understanding front desk person. Con: Did not have airport shuttle. Cost me $70.00 from and to airport. I will NEVER stay at this motel or any motel that does not have airport shuttle

Hotel was slightly run down with a curry smell in the lobby.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were just there overnight and it was the perfect place to lay our head for the night.

I wasn’t there long enough to not like anything.

Room smelled badly like smoke and was a bit run down. Drawers on tv stand wouldn’t close the floor wasn’t level. Door to both room and bathroom were beat up. AC unit struggled to cool room even with 50 degree temps outside.

The breakfast was good. The hotel location was great. We went to a concert at the Vibrant arena and getting to and from was pretty easy.

Other guests smoking out in the parking lot. I don't smoke and smelling it was unpleasant.
