The Gator Den

We were greeted in the parking lot. Check in and check out was super easy. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful!

I didn’t know until check out that the pillows were doubled up and stuffed into small pillowcases so they were extra thick. I slept without pillows. I wish I would’ve known earlier that you can pull the pillow out to normal size and thickness.

I’ve probably stayed in each of their rooms and in a few of them more than once, Ive enjoyed each stay, rooms have always been clean and fresh. All of my rainbow river memories include this place. The staff have always been courteous and eager to help, check in through the bait shop, gotta love it! The setting along the river, century old cypress trees, vintage old boat houses, its like a night on the bayou, but in Florida.

Parking is bit tricky, but once you get situated, it’s a nice little road side motel to use as your home base while floating through paradise.

Nice clean rooms, air conditioner worked great. Good food and drinks at the bar and restaurant.

Loved that it's right on the river. Loved that it had a really cool, reasonably priced & laid back restaurant on the water directly next door. That restaurant had themed nights, including one dedicated to karaoke, etc.. Rooms seemed like they had been recently renovated, as such everything felt really nice and clean. It was a pretty quiet area. Not far from main grocery stores like Publix etc. Cleaning staff was very nice. Was pet friendly & had no carpet.

The wifi connection in room was pretty bad. Same for cell reception. Even the room's tv which could connect to streaming had pretty consistent interruption. Also note their signage name refers to "Anglers Resort" so not sure which is the current versus former between that or "Gator's Den".. but could be a bit confusing when turning in/calling them.

Very clean and cozy. Staff is so friendly and welcoming.
