The showers are very slippery, and one can easily fall down. Light in room was to bright, no pictures, bed uncomfortable.

Beware this property has no lamps or lighting near bed other than a small overhead ceiling light by window and bathroom lights.First room by street is very dingy with weird stale odor.

This is the most doagusting, dirty, sticky place I have ever stayed at.

Stayed here for Monterey Car Week. All of these types of Motels are about the same in Monterey and Seaside. We've stayed at 5 different ones. This one was probably on the lower quality. The rooms were clean and the beds were clean. I didn’t check the mattress because I really didn't want to see what I was sleepIng on. Could have been fine. The beds were about the same comfort level as the other motels down here. The bathroom was the worst part of the room. The paint was peeling on the ceiling and other walls and there was mildew in several places. All of this was not super unexpected but it sucks paying almost $500 per night just because its during car week. Hopefully I can find a different place for next year.

The property is very run down and the area is very noisy. The room was cleaned but the floor was wet when we checked in, so used a floor mat to dry it and it came up filthy. Most of the trim and walls had dirt/mold on them and the shower drain was rusted. The exterior is under some kind of slow renovation because the framing work that was done has not been painted and the lumber has been sitting a while. The gentleman who checked us was very friendly and helpful, but for a hotel that was getting $500 for a premium weekend they need to up their game.

-the room had a very sour smell - no waste bin in the bathroom - mold in the bathroom ceiling - door deadlock bolt broken - sliding window did not shut locked (first floor unit) - headboard lamps/power outlets not working - left over takeout from previous visitor in the mini fridge - bathroom door knob had loose collar plate, left over screw holes/screws on the bathroom walls (possible from removing the old mirror) + the beds were clean and comfortable + staff was polite and friendly
