Hyatt Place Topeka

Brice was so amazingly helpful at check in. I was completely tired and he was wonderful getting my family quickly into our room.

That i couldn't have stayed longer!!

Not the typical consistent quality of a Hyatt Place. However the room was in good shape. Breakfast was less than and not well maintained compared to many other HP locations.

Above average breakfast with quality choices. The bed was comfy & room layout nice, but the bathroom was very small/tight.

It was cool seeing my first twister here. I was hoping it would touch down, but it didn't. Instead, we got a cool double rainbow, and I introduced some people to that funny meme from yesteryear. The front desk girl was very nice, and she liked our dog. The property is by a cool park but it attracts some of the local fauna and they leave behind a lot of beer cans and stuff.

We had an unplanned stay in Topeka due to a necessary car repair while traveling through. Picked the Hyatt thinking it would be on the nicer side as it was one of the pricier hotels in the area and had decent reviews. Hotel was dirty inside and outside. The room was just decent. The beds weren’t great- sunk in the middle. We skipped the breakfast- it was crowded. A large dog in the room across the hall from us barked early in the morning and when doors from other rooms opened and closed disturbing us. This hotel was definitely a let down. The one positive was the good customer service at the front desk.

Pool area was run down

The second room we were provided was great. The staff were kind and changed our room immediately after notifying them of the cleanliness issue.

Our first room had dirt in the sheets, feces on the bathroom wall, a drop of blood on the floor, and the fridge didn’t work.
