Studio with microwave, hotplates, kettle, etc. Enough crockery and cutlery. Tiny bathroom and shower over bath. Big bedroom and table and chairs on an enclosed terrace. Spacious. Staff helpful and efficient. Lift access. Lots of parking. Close to transport including Skybus to/from the airport. Will stay there again.

on late arrival, expect basics to be in order, including heating / air conditioning. Air con / heating did not work, only the fan function. Past midnight I spent 60 minutes experimenting , instead of winding down. There was a portable oil heater, that did heat, but required experimentation to calibrate (room too cold then too hot etc). I didn’t ask for a refund, not worth the bother. But Cosmopolitan Hotel was just neglectful: fix the central heating or AT LEAST take care to advise guests it is broken and how to operate its backup device AND offer a discount for the inconvenie and interruption to the Rest which is what we pay for.

Hotel in convinant location and good for a one night stay if seeing a show in St Kilda. Bed wasn't very comfortable but you get what you pay for
