DoubleTree by Hilton Campbell - Pruneyard Plaza

Drunken people from wedding party banging on your door at 2 am. Happened two nights in a row. Called from desk and first time no one answered. Took 30 mins for the hotel to stop the noise and get control of the situation. Serious security issues. Complained to hotel manager and they asked if I wanted to check out early. No attempt to compensate in any way. No room key needed for elevator use. Rooms are acceptable 3 1/2 star. Would never stay here again. I travel globally 150,000 miles per year and seldom write reviews but feel compelled to make others aware of how poorly this hotel managed. Will stay some where else next time!

Front desk unfriendly

The hotel is clean, well located and the service was good. My only complaint is that the breakfast, which was a little more than a continental breakfast, was not complimentary, like so many other hotels of the same type. We were planning on having breakfast elsewhere with our kids, so we only had coffee and a couple hard boiled eggs, thinking it was complimentary. They charged us $25/pp. Had we known, we would’ve not eaten any of it. The other thing that was off-putting was that our room was ready at 11:30, but they wanted to charge us a fee of $25 to check-in early, even though noon was the regular check-in time.

The staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home! The cookies were the best every night, always warm! We loved being walking distance to so many good restaurants as well.

Hotel located in the Pruneyard and has so many food options. Walkable to restaurants and shopping.

Clean and staff were friendly

We had no idea until it was too late as drapes were closed that our window was filthy dirty with bird poop on glass and view of pool equipment and junk.

The hotel was very clean and nice. The only thing that could be improved is the parking situation.
