Days Inn by Wyndham Arlington/Washington DC

Not my favorite stay. This is an old motel-style property. The room smelled musty and moldy. The window in the bathroom didn't latch closed all the way. The floor in the bathroom was faux-concrete lining over linoleum, and there was a big patch missing. Unlike the advertisement photos, the rooms are not bright, but rather dingy and lacking in amenities. Thin walls, so if your neighbor leaves on the TV overnight like mine did, you're going to hear it all night long. Not staying here again.

The reception & room were so smelly. We pay money to get good service and clean place to good a good stay/good night sleep. I won't recommend this place to friends and family. I also suggest that they add more items to the breakfast menu. Thank you!

First room had mold growing on the ceiling, wall paper falling off the walls, definitely a health hazard, changed rooms not much better, but at least could get the air working which pumped in cold air all night. I probably would have been better off to sleep on a bench in the airport. 200 dollars for a crap night. Stay away!

Ideally placed for Arlington Cemetery and the Pentagon and a short Uber ride in to Washington DC City. Plenty of parking for those with a vehicle. A Supermarket across the road plus burger, pizza shop a little further down the road and also a very good Chinese restaurant. Large rooms with tv, fridge and microwave plus a nice breakfast included. Bath and shower plus rooms cleaned every other day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wifi throughout was excellent. A coffee and tea machine available in the reception lobby 24/7. The property has all that is required for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Some re-decoration of rooms required however for an even better experience IMO.

No frills, catfish motel. Definitely not the Ritz and still wondering how this is a Wyndham property. The pictures in the description are inaccurate. The complimentary breakfast was good and had a variety of options. If you take breakfast food there is a $10 per person charge. The bathroom water was hot; beds were comfortable, although one leaned to the side. The box springs had visible stains. One bed had a bedspread, one did not. There are visible Cob webs on the ceiling in the room and breakfast area. Pealing wallpaper, slippery tub , and visible mold around the cold side of sink are a couple of the cleanliness issues. There was no hair dryer or coffee maker in the room. The smoke detector was covered with a tan plastic bag. The bathroom window had no screen and was extremely difficult to close. The TV is about 15 years old and definitely not SMART… lol. I did not see bugs in the room, although there was a fat rat that ran across the parking lot . The front desk is not available overnight . This could be a concern should you need assistance ie : an extra blanket or pillow. The ice machine is also located in the part of the building that was locked , so no ice , coffee, blankets. The hotel staff was professional although the answers received were not very informative. There is no shuttle service to local attractions. The surrounding area is nice, and we felt comfortable walking to the nearby restaurants and neighborhood store.

The property is good enough for the price. A bit run down, but a good bed and a morning breakfast included. We walked the 40 mins to Arlington cemetery on both of our 2 days and from the cemetery you can board the GoBus hop-on/hop off tour to see the sights of DC (pay the driver as you board). It worked well for our needs.

I did not stay there. They offered me a room with a full bed instead of the queen size bed i reserved. The facility smelled bad, was in disrepair, had mold in the outside....

This hotel needs a complete overhaul. The room was dirty, bathroom in shambles, wallpaper bubbling and peeling off the walls. Stay somewhere else.

Its a no fuss, no frills place to stay. The room was super clean and the linens were super soft. I think the decor could use a bit of an update but, honestly you dont stay here for decor. You stay for convivence, which it was.

A really terrible hotel, bedbugs, cockroaches, humidity, bad rooms, walls with destroyed wallpaper, cigarette odor, really bad conditions, sound like people crying. So terrible the experience. I don't recommended this type of hotel. Choose another one If you want to have a better experience choose another hotel.
