Comfort Inn & Suites Cookeville

Easy check in, front desk people were friendly, breakfast area clean, food was good.

We would have given an excellent rating except for the toilet having a leak at the fill line and the hallways not being cleaned daily. Otherwise, the accommodations were very nice and the breakfast was well prepared.

This is not even close to the standard of a Comfort Inn and Suites. It will not be even after the remodel. The website for this property shows carpeted rooms. This king suite has entryway tile and the rest of the floor is laminate, which are both quite dirty! This room reeks of a freshly remodeled building. The paint smell in here is bad. I imagine that my CPAP machine concentrating all of these fumes directly into my lungs is not going to turn out too well for me! My machine will have to be dismantled and cleaned to remove the paint residue from the inside of the fan! The blackout curtains are at least a foot short and at least 4” narrow per side to cover the windows! Most of the first floor is in disarray due to the remodeling, which by the way is not listed as going on at the website! The I wish I could get my money back. If I could we would be out of here in a hot minute!

The check in experience and customer service were excellent. Aujanea checked us in and was professional and friendly. The room was clean and had nice amenities.The air conditioner was very efficient. My only complaint was the black out curtains were too short and let in a lot of light.

They are remodeling. Unfortunately we were put in an old unremodeled room which had a stale bad smell and damage to the ceiling in the shower. Very disappointed.

Our room was on the 3rd floor. There is not ice or vending available unless you go to the 1st floor. Room was clean and comfortable.
