Radisson Blu Hotel Nice

Amazing location good connectivity from the airport and to the city. Great breakfast

Restaurant above has good location but no clear information about booking and lot of confusion about can we get food outside or not

Luxe hotel dichtbij openbaar vervoer. Beste strandtent voor de deur. Uitzicht op zee. Goed ontbijt. Lekkere bedden wel hard moet je van houden. Net buiten alle drukte van de stad. Weinig kinderen dus lekker rustig. Kamer met uitzicht op de oceaan is wel een aanrader. Fijne rustige sportschool.

Douchen in bad tijd aan vervanging hiervan naar douches. Lekt aan alle kanten. Als ze dit eindelijk eens aanpassen zou het echt top zijn. 1 van de 3 liften was buiten werking maar daar door rustige tijd midweek geen last van gehad.

The Radisson Blu, Nice is situated about 10 minutes in a taxi from the airport. It's not close to any of the lovely restaurants and bars in the main town of Nice. There are very little facilities close by therefore you need to take a taxi or use the tram to get around. The hotel is across the busy road from the beach which is a stone beach with their beach club which is open to the public. Guests at the hotel have no vantage at all as they are charged for entry at Euros 35 each a day. On one day there we were told the beach club was closing at 3 for a private function. The beach has a high shelf and it is not easy to get into the sea or back up the high mount to the seating area. On one occasion there was a digger moving stones around trying to flatten the top area, blasting fumes around the seating area much to the annoyance of the guests. Why this could not be done before the club opened it to be questioned. Hotel staff are abrupt and unhelpful. Any small requests such as can the mini fridge be repaired were met with arguments that "that's how they work". Maintenance did eventually attend and changed a part which did indeed make it cool as normal. On another occasion I asked to pay the bill in cash and was told this would affect the deposit already left on checkin and it would take a further 2 weeks to have that returned. Housekeeping was awful. Our room which cost over £300 a day room only, was left with dirty cups and glasses on a daily basis. Surfaces were marked and dust covered the floor under the desk. We had to ask for tea bags. The was only 1 restaurant for breakfast and the restaurant on the top floor was only open in th evening. . 2 bottles of water in the room were provided daily. The pool area is pleasant if somewhat tight on space considering the size of the hotel. Facilities are overall lacking. No bar except the pool bar. Drinks prices are high. The main lounge coffee area/ bar in the lobby area was closed. No reason given. The restaurant on the rooftop only opened in the evening. Would not stay here again. There are many hotels in Nice nearer to the main town. However the main reason is the total lack of facilities and poor customer service while we charged excessively for a very basic room.
