Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Sorrento Valley

Whenever I travel for business to San Diego, I stay at the Courtyard Marriott San Diego Sorrento Valley. It is clean, modern, and centrally located. The staff is excellent. I stayed there last week and made a mistake on my reservation. The manager was extremely gracious and was able to quickly help me resolve the situation. I felt very well taken care by the Courtyard team.

Excellent service & very friendly staff, great amenities

We were forced to stay here for a soccer tournament. During our stay, the hotel was old and dilapidated, the carpet was dirty and the hotel had the old musky smell to it . Our rooms had dust, cobwebs, spiders, bugs and a slug in n the ceiling with stains. The hot tub jets were broken and although it was indoor, the hot tub itself was filthy with what appeared to be dead skin and dirt. We complained to the staff about our room, so they moved us upstairs which was a little better, but not by much. The hot tub stayed broken and filthy throughout our four day stay. I complained to the staff while there and Marriott customer service when I got home, but I received an email back from Matt B. Marriott Bonvoy® Case Resolution Specialist, that I hadn't notified hotel management about the conditions. Well Matt B. then why the heck did they move me my first night shortly after check in

Room was just okay. Oven was not working for food. Breakfast didn't start until 7AM

Clean room , Staff very much friendly It would have been good if complementary water bottle would have been provided everyday ...not only the 1st day.

Bed & sheets set smell heavy plastic.

Nice hotel stay for the family near soccer tournament. Nice pool and facilities
