Comfort Inn Indianapolis North - Carmel

The breakfast was minimal, but the serving units lookedlikethey had never been clean. Dust & crumbs behind the serving dishes. Coffee dispenser was stained and filthy looking.

Clean coffee server and counters. Refrig was covered with old fingerprints & goo. The carpets should have been replaced years ago. My room, 110, was scrapped and appeared to be in a stage of repair. The toilet paper holder fell off in my hand onto the floor. The sink drain had no closure (so I lost an earring that fell in to it).

The first room we received a key for had not been turned over yet Second room we got our key did not work and the staff had to let us in each time Elevator was out th entire stay bathroom sink and tub would not drain

Staff friendly. Hotel is very reasonable. Very neat

Hot water is at minimum in the shower

The desk was kind enough for me to check in early so I could go downtown to the basketball championship games.

Nothing.

One of the staff members came into the breakfast area, addressed me by name, and said good morning. That was a positive start to the day.

Walking into the hotel was a bit unsettling as the carport overhang was broken. It appeared as if a large truck had run into it, which looked unsafe and possibly structurally unstable. We drove around to access our rooms as the elevators were not working. Staff apologized for the inconvenience; however, I was traveling with my disabled parents, who had a very difficult time navigating stairs. This was a huge safety concern. When we approached the door on the side of the building to access the stairs, there was a large dent in the door where someone had kicked it or thrown something at it. There was an initial impact spot, and the glass had spiderwebbed from there. We put our key card in the door reader to open the door, and were confused to find it wasn't lighting up. That is when we noticed it was not working, and the door was just open. Another safety concern. Once we entered, we noticed that many of the baseboards were held together with painter's tape. We made our way up the stairs and entered the hallway on our floor. There were many ceiling tiles that were either missing or had holes, and there was water damage. I helped my parents get settled in their room and continued with my husband and children to ours. My husband (carrying our things) didn't see a small garbage can in the middle of the hallway and accidentally kicked it while almost tripping over it. It was then that we noticed it was under one of those water-damaged tiles, collecting water. In the rooms, there were spider webs (with eggs inside), holes in the walls, and stained lampshades. The breakfast was not what was expected. There were a few options: bread (toast), oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, apples, bagels, and danishes. If you wanted to warm any of those items, there was a toaster and a microwave available. However, the only options for putting your food on were styrofoam, which is not safe to use in the microwave.

When i arrived to check in no one was at the found desk... I had to wait at least 30 min for someone to show up, the lobby floor was filthy, the elivator was broke and the celing was falling down. Also it was really dark when you walked in.

The beds were very comfortable and the cleaning staff the next morning were pleasant.

Pool water was green; front desk staff member was very unprofessional when trying to confirm it being safe to swim in (typically could be fixed rather quickly if just a minor imbalance). Staff member also felt it was appropriate to sit in the lobby and watch television. Elevator was out of order. Other guests during our stay were complaining about the security of the doors at the their end of the hall. Half of the juices were out of order at breakfast nor was there anything warm available to eat unless you made a piece of toast. Ceiling of assigned hotel room had stains and peeling paint.
