The property and facilities are clean and the property has excellent customer service. They have free bus shuttles to the Ogimachi bus terminal which is very convenient if you need to make transfers to Kanazawa or other areas. Make sure to check the bus shuttle schedule. My wife and I enjoyed the dinner and breakfast kaiseki style meals. We will come again!

Excellent rooms and great service. This is a well-kept and fairly new place. A lot of amenities and wonderful service. Hope to be back.

This hotel is small but quite unique. The house was made by Japanese wood and with highly technical skills and craftmanship. All staff are providing excellent services. We dined at the hotel last night and it is a super good Japanese dinner. We enjoyed every minute while staying there. Next time if visit Takayama again, we will likely to stay at this hotel.

The hotel is a beautiful Japanese style hotel. Everything is perfect except the location.

Top among anywhere in the world in this price range! All aspects of our stay were BEYOND exceptional. Service, room, amenities (including a pillow bar), food, location and accessibility all stellar. Baths were wonderful as well. For the first time, we experienced having access to private baths that the family could enjoy together without having to pay extra. Everything is well thought out and executed in this little piece of heaven. Fantastic price for what you experience! We regret only booking one night here. Had we known how relaxing it was, we’d have stayed multiple nights. Just go, especially if you’re visiting Shirakawago! We will certainly return here.

Brand new and lots of snacks for free. A pity that the onsen doesn't have a very good view.
