Beaufort Hotel

Rude Liars. I wish there was a Zero Star option. Horrible experience with this hotel. I had to cancel my reservation well in advance of the booked date. Two separate Staff said no problem, and that they would credit it back to my card. When it was never credited, I reached out again and they changed their story. They said that it was policy to “keep the advance deposit”, but would up keeping the entire $287 total. They obviously wanted to stall long enough to make it difficult with my credit card company. DO NOT RESERVE HERE.

Facility and grounds are lovely; staff always accommodating. Very attractive.

Did not want the accessible room; was less than expected. Entrance door so hard to open; took two of us to open & hold. Desk chair so low you were sitting chest high to use desk surface. Shower/tube controls: need a guide.

The restaurant

It was rundown, the staff was not very friendly, the valet was very unorganized, the locks did not work on the first room and had to be moved to a second room.

Beaufort Hotel is one of our favorite places! The hotel is wonderful, location is amazing, and service is fantastic. We love the restaurant on-site. Austin was our valet and he was the best!

Came for a wedding weekend and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. So friendly and kind! They really go out of the way on every level. The hotel is right on the river and the views are spectacular! We ate at 34 North (on site restaurant ) and the breakfast menu has may options at very reasonable prices. Had a beautifully appointed room with a super comfy king mattress. Rooms were well insulated from noise too. The hotel has a free shuttle that will take you downtown to the lovely shops and eateries! We felt quite at home at the Beaufort and highly recommend this hotel!
