Beaufort Hotel

First time staying at this Hotel. I stayed here 3 night from a wedding, I live out of hotels for my job so I have stayed at many different locations and hotels over the years. This was a wonderful experience, To start with, they have valet parking for $15.00 dollars a day. You can park your own car for free, but it is a walk. That would be the only drawback of the hotel. All the staff here is very helpful and friendly, They always have a couple of people at the front desk. Service everywhere was great. They treat you like family. Restaurant and bar. I was at both many times. Excellent. My room was large, very clean and a comfortable bed. I could see the water if I walked onto the patio, but I mostly saw a parking lot. The price for the room was very reasonable. Very large shower with a chandelier in the bath room. That was different. They had an outside building for the wedding. Weather was perfect so it was great.. The wedding reception was held in the main building upstairs. It was the perfect place for a wedding. Beautiful room for dinner, dancing and the reception. Walk out the door and you had a beautiful view of the water with plenty of space and tables to relax and enjoy. It was perfect. The staff was excellent and it made for the perfect wedding. Everyone who attended this wedding enjoyed themselves. They have docks where you can pull your boat up. They have a large boat that I think you can rent or take sunset rides. I did not do this. They have an outdoor pool and whirlpool. It was closed while I was there. That was disappointing. Being from Michigan I would have used it at 70 degrees. All in all a wonderful wedding and experience. I really enjoyed it and would recommend anyone thinking of planning a weeding to take a look here. I really want to go back. PLEASE NOTE: If like me you use GPS to find the hotel, you must type in the exact location to find the hotel. If you tell your GPS to take you to the Beaufort hotel, it takes you to a different location a couple miles away.

Food was excellent and the cost was what one would expect at a first rate restaurant. Valet parking was phenomenal in that the guys got our cars ready in 5 minutes. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, and well serviced. All hotel and restaurant employees were very friendly and eager to help.

Excellent hotel on the water on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina, a real family vacation destination. Our room was super, A/C easily controllable, bed very comfortable, bathroom super. Had a problem with the shower drain, but maintenance cleared it. Restaurant and bar are first rate, great food and drink, super service. Check in/out was easy peasy. Valet parking very convenient, only $15 a day, which wasn't bad. Close to downtown area, Morehead City, Fort Macon, Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle. We had a great Thanksgiving vacation with family for 4 days.

Great breakfast! Staff was fantastic especially the bar staff. Always accommodating. Bed was super comfortable. Valet service was on top of everything. So kind.

I didn't like the shower head. The hard water was not a good thing. I would also appreciate if the views out from the balcony would be more pleasant. Looking at an abandoned lot isn't the most pleasurable thing to view. I completely understand that it's not their fault, but it's something to take into consideration.

What a great diamond in the rough! A first class boutique hotel with impeccable service and attention to detail on every level. I was blown away by the staff, that acted more like owners than employees. We attended a wedding there that was as beautiful as it was scenic. First class amenities with top drawer soaps, lotions and shampoos are in every room and the main building has a great restaurant and spacious meeting rooms. The facility sits on land that once was a Menhaden fish plant and the history is told by framed articles and photographs that are all across the walls of the main building. To top it off, the rates were reasonable and the location is beautiful.

The hotel is located on the waterway and has a nice view of passing boats as well as water/shore birds. Upon Check In the front desk attendant was fairly uninterested in us as guests with no personal or welcoming information provided about the hotel or amenities. As first timers to the area and this hotel we would have liked a little more information than an 8.5 x 11 sheet handed to us which apparently was not updated for the season. Our room was adjacent to the "valet" parking area. With the constant light, noise and activity it did not promote a good night sleep. The blinds did not work correctly, and the coffee provided was only decaf. Our biggest issue was the parking. To self-park you need to go out the main driveway turn left and enter across the street to a stone lot which is not attended. It is not visible from the hotel. At this time of year when the "valet" lot adjacent to the hotel is more than half empty why you would not be able to self-park closer seems rather unfortunate. The valet lot housed no more than 10 -15 guest cars each day and all the hotel workers parked in this lot. There were multiple spots available. We dined onsite for dinner one evening. The only issue was food not prepared as ordered which was disappointing considering the price point.

Well appointed, clean, quiet and comfortable room. Friendly and outgoing staff. Be prepared to pay for valet parking or walk about 4 minutes to get to your vehicle.
