Beaufort Hotel

Cannot say enough about this stunning location on Taylor Creek. Starting with valet service + a warm welcome at Reception we knew this was a hotel we would be coming back to. Our room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom, comfortable mattress and great pillows. The robes were a nice touch. We dined outside with perfect weather and saw a beautiful sunset. Coffee + applewood bacon was delicious. My only complaint was the Belgian waffle + pancakes. They were heavy. Honestly I make better ones. It was minor. The hotel is 2 miles from downtown + very quiet. Once in our room we never heard a sound. We’ll definitely go back.

Love this hotel, and the beauty surrounding it. Holly in reservations was very accommodating with changing one of our days. Staff in the restaurant were so nice, we sat outside with our dog, it was lovely. Our dog got his own water bowl at dinner. We love this hotel...this time there was a wedding venue, I would recommend going when there is no venue. We spent 2 nights and throughout the night the noise above our room was rough. 2nd night I called front desk at 1230 at night, and they sent someone to see, and 15 min after that, was silence, kudos to the Front Desk for handling that. As always, the room was cool, great shower ...comfortable bed... One thing, very important....the little outside patio which is great, with sliding glass door so convenient. It needed to be power washed big time!! The whole area surrounding the sliding glass door was very dirty. There were gnats, insects, spider webs etc along the top and both sides of the sliding glass door and the patio itself was very dirty , making for any icky experience to sit out there. I hope management will check the rooms on the side yard, rooms in the 100's ground level...all seemed to be in need of a heavy power washing... Thankyou for a lovely stay except for the patio area, which was important to us.

The hotel and rooms are beautiful. The hotel and restaurant staff were great and hospitable. The free shuttle to town was a wonderful perk that we used 3 times during our stay. The food at 34° North was exceptional too!

This hotel overall was fantastic. We were there the weekend of Labor Day and had a great time. A few things that felt kind of “off” was that neither the pool nor the “hot tub” was heated. We were traveling with two small kids and like most beach climates, are gloomy in the morning. Definitely not warm enough to swim without heat in the pool. The next thing that was strange is when we arrived, we drove in. There are no bell men so we had to load and unload a bell cart ourselves which overall was fine but hard traveling with small kids. The next thing is when we arrived we asked about where to store our vehicle. They told me where parking was and it was basically across the street. I dropped off my sister in law and kids and went to park the car. When I walked back, I then saw a sign for valet. Needless to say, after that, we valeted but it was odd they didn’t offer valet and parking. The restaurant itself was good but not a ton of options. We ended up eating off property most of the time. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and so well appointed. The patios have nice patio furniture and we had a lovely pool view. The main lobby as well was beautifully decorated and the staff overall were amazing and very friendly. It was the perfect spot for us as the rooms were spacious and we were not too far away from downtown. We will definitely be back but probably when the weather is a bit warmer and we can enjoy the pool!

Wunderbare Lage, insgesamt sehr schöne Anlage. Geräumige und schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Im Restaurant konnten wir draussen sitzen und hatten einen wunderbaren Sonnenuntergang. Obwohl mein Partner am Tag vorher Geburtstag hatte, wurde ihm ein Kuchen offeriert. Das empfanden wir als enorm grosszügig.
