Beaufort Hotel

Room was roomy and nice.

I thought valet parking option was a rip-off, especially since self-park requires 2-block walk back to the hotel. We didn't stay for breakfast as serving didn't start until 8:00 AM and we needed to depart by 8:00 AM. Your desk agents need more training on credit card processing: upon arrival, the agent told me that she couldn't get my AMEX card to process and asked for another card. In the morning during check-out, I asked another agent to try to process the AMEX card again. She tried, and said all was well and the room would be charged to AMEX. Now the charge has appeared on the alternate card.

Nice hotel with a great restaurant.

Dogs, dogs, everywhere dogs. Property advertises limited number of rooms on first floor are set aside for pets, but in reality they can go anywhere including the lobby and restaurant. Disgusting to eat dinner next to smelly dogs and management refuses to have them removed. I addressed with management and was told dogs were allowed throughout the property. Ruined my stay and dinner as my wife and I both have allergies to pet dander. I’ve no problem with pet friendly hotels, but I personally avoid them and would have avoided this place had they been honest on their website and during my call before booking.

Restaurant and patio are amazing

Music plays on speakers 24/7 even over night at the pool and on the patio preventing you from just relaxing in morning to listen to water splash and birds. Shouldn’t charge a nightly pet fee just a per stay should be it
