Stay SAKURA Kyoto Gion North

Location and facilities were excellent with comfortable bed, powerful shower, a washing machine in the apartment and the bathroom could be used as a drying room.

The apartment was dark and the view from the window was of a block wall less than a metre away. My advice would be to ensure you don’t have room 105. It felt very dark and claustrophobic in there. Perhaps a lighter colour ceiling would have made it feel less cave like.

Gut gelegen um sich z.B. das Geisha/Gion Viertel/den Yasaka Schrein auch nachts anzuschauen. Bus auch direkt vor der Haustür. Das Personal war sehr nett. War zufrieden. Gerne wieder.

設備がいいです。キッチン、洗濯機、食器、洗剤等必要なものがあり、部屋もきれいで、お風呂にはテレビもあり、部屋もお風呂も快適ですごくよかったです。

少し浴槽が狭かったのでもう少しひろかったらいいなぁくらいでした。

Comfortable and well equipped - washing machine, small kitchen, bathroom that doubles as a drying room (which was fantastic!). The staff were kind and helpful where they could be e.g. printing documents and storing luggage.

The rain falling on the metal gutters/air conditioning units outside was very loud, maybe worse because we were on the ground floor I don’t know. One or two things didn’t work while we stayed - a few sockets and a leaky toilet - but they were fixed quickly. Hotel sometimes ran out of umbrellas that you could borrow - seems like an easy fix to have enough for all guests. Rooms are pretty tight for space.

The bed was large and comfy, I liked the drying system in the shower room.

There wasn’t anywhere to store our luggage so it went on the floor
