Our sheets were old and the elastic was wore down and the sheets kept coming off I told the clerk and show him a picture of he seemed to be indifferent

All relatively new and good suite set up with kitchenette

Staff was not helpful on check-in, breakfast was not well stocked and they ran people out the minute after 0900

We would of liked to have gotten more towels, soaps, conditioners without having to call and ask for them since it was 6 of us.

Location was great

Not a safe place. Anyone can just enter and come to your room. I think some level of security at the lifts is required.

I love the kitchen in my room. Full size fridge & microwave. The layout was very roomy. Breakfast was nicer than other places. The lobby was very inviting and they had places to sit outside as well.

Only thing was the shower head was a little too high so my short 4'8" self couldn't adjust the water but my husband did.

We’re a Hilton-loyal household and Diamond Elite members, and this review is written thoughtfully because we’ve generally had very positive experiences with Hilton properties overall. Unfortunately, our recent experience with the Home2 Suites in Sugar Land was disappointing enough that it’s changed where we’ll be staying going forward. My partner has stayed at this location regularly for the past six months — roughly a dozen nights per month — due to work nearby. During that time, his experience had always been great. The staff knew him as a regular guest, check-ins were smooth, and the hotel was convenient and comfortable. Because of that consistency, what happened during his most recent extended stay was especially surprising. After his last multi-night stay, we noticed a $250 smoking charge added to the folio. We are a non-smoking household, and this charge came completely out of the blue. When we called to ask about it, the initial response was sympathetic. The person we spoke with acknowledged that my partner was a frequent guest and said they would “see what they could do.” However, the conversation took an uncomfortable turn when it was suggested that resolving the issue might be difficult due to the hotel experiencing slower sales. That comment alone raised concerns. We gave the benefit of the doubt and waited for follow-up — which never came. When my partner called back while preparing to book his next stay, another staff member confirmed the smoking charge but noted that no documentation or notes existed showing any attempt at resolution. At that point, we were told the charge was due to “evidence of cigarette smoke found by housekeeping.” That statement was simply not accurate. No one in our household smokes cigarettes, and the allegation itself was frustrating and frankly upsetting. We ultimately disputed the charge with American Express and were successful. However, the damage was already done. What could have been resolved quickly and quietly instead turned into a breakdown of trust — especially for a long-term Diamond Elite guest who had brought consistent business to this property for months. We’ve since made alternative arrangements at another Hilton brand nearby and will not be returning to this Home2 Suites. It’s unfortunate, because this felt like a short-term revenue decision at the expense of a loyal customer relationship. We’re hopeful this experience is isolated to this location and not reflective of Hilton standards overall — but it was disappointing nonetheless.
