Texas Inn San Benito near Harlingen

Quick and easy stay.

It was average nothing special but given the very painful and in my opinion rude staff this was a stay to forget quickly rather than remember and cherish. The staff both reception and manager were not willing to make any accomdations regardless of my situation and barely covered the unique needs of my disabilities. The actual room and facility is average nothing note nothing less. The human element makes this motel a very hard pill to swallow if you allow yourself to be disrespected but have no other option than to sleep outside or in your car with your family.

Good stay, nice staff

I was very surprised with the size of the room. Very spacious, lighting was good. Disappointed in the shower though, I lost water pressure half way through. Didn't have the normal bad crowd that you get at some of these types of hotels. Oh and parking was good for my truck and trailer. well lit parking loy

The rooms were clean for my standards. But the owner seemed very rude

The male front desk yelled and yelled and yelled some more cause I checked out at 11:40 am because he paid Mexican men to say check-out is noon. He tried to make me talk to the Mexican men in room next to me who asked me to talk to them over and over while they were inside my cell phone. I know he thought this was funny.

There was no maid service. The mexicans said there check-out was 12 noon. I had to check-out at 11:15 am because a guy with sunglasses and a big weed wacker told me my check out was 11:00 am. He pretended he could not hear what I was saying to purposely aggravate me. I could tell he thought it was funny. He yelled, "She did not leave a tip/"

The mattresses are very hard felt like we were sleeping in the floor Restroom door was too close to the toilet you have to squeeze in there in order to close the door
