Texas Inn San Benito near Harlingen

The rooms themselves were not bad but it was really difficult to figure out how the shower worked. I was able to get the water running at the bottom but could not figure out how to get it flowing at the top where the shower head was.

Clean, properly located next to a highway.

It was a horrible stay. But this is what happens when everything else was booked on a holiday weekend. I did not make or reserve a room for this spontaneous getaway. I would have slept in my car. But we needed to get rest. Which, we did not have. Oh well...lesson learned.

Stay wasn't very pleasant. Bed was like sleeping on a boxspring on top of boxsping. Holes in the sheets andbroom didn't seem very clean. Tv had about 5-7 channels. And no wifi available.

Really disappointed with the hotel staff was really good

I thought the room was really big and for the price it was pretty good. Cleanliness could be a bit better especially with COVID out there but other than that it was good for just one night after driving 14 hours.

I had to pay a deposit when we arrived on top of the payment made online that wasn't mentioned or included when the reservation was made. Than the room was hot during the day. The full size frig did not work either and there was a mini frig to use but limited space. The bathroom was very small and the mattresses were hard.

It was ok.

It was clean and comfy
