When we complained about the uncomfortable bed in our original room, the staff found us another room. The hotel location was perfect for the events we were attending. The heater worked, and the room was not super dry.

The bed in our second room was only slightly more comfortable than the first. I spent a good portion of the night trying to sleep in the chair. When we opened the shower curtain the next morning, we found the bathtub floor filled with what appeared to be rust. When I tried to clean the tub out, the water just filled up the tub then took over an hour to empty (with the rust just spread over more of the bathtub floor. Jiggling the toilet handle was required to keep the toilet from running. Paint chips and dents in our room and on the dining room walls gave an air of negligence to the place, and broken and missing tiles in the hallway were definite tripping hazards. The breakfast was minimal and unappetizing to look at, with dirty tables to eat it at. The curtains would not close fully in our room, so the bright lights outside the window made it difficult for my husband to sleep. I had requested extra pillows when I booked the room and been told that wouldn't be a problem. They were not available when we asked on arrival. In our first room. the closet rod and hangers were strung along the closet floor, so I had to put everything back together before anything could be hung up. The room had not been thoroughly dusted, and the mirror above the desk was just one big smudge.

The location is great. Gas station and Starbucks right next to the hotel. Many places to eat close by. Close to the Interstate 74.

There was what looked like painted over mold above the shower. No plug for the bathtub. No shower curtain in the bathroom. Only 1boiler was working, so it took 10 minutes or so for to get hot water. The hot tub was great but there were no towels available. We asked for extra towels in our room because we had to use them for the pool and we never got them. There was a hole at the bottom of the wall behind the bathroom door. There were broken tiles in the hallway and it was also cold in the hallway.There are also water leakage stains in the ceiling in the hallway. The breakfast was just cereal and pastries that looked as if they had bought them from Sam's Club and staff wrapped them up.

I stayed for four days, I was very pleased with the staff, the hotel it self. I enjoyed the pool by myself, and my bed was extra comfortable. I enjoyed evening except the breakfast.

The breakfast could have been better.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the whole place was clean and very comfortable.

A little bit of a hassle trying to get to the entrance, having to drive around the back of a gas station, but that's more of a city problem and nothing the hotel really has control over.
