Comfort Inn Concord South End

We slept pretty well. There wasn't alot of street noise from within the room. We like that we could have our little 8lb hypoallergenic maltipoo with us in the room.

We did not like that our room smelled like a dirty, wet dog. Or that our sink had a huge crack in it and leaked all over the counter getting our things wet. Or that there was a huge stain on the sheer curtain that looked like a blood stain.

The location was great. There was one staff that was great when checking in and she was there again when we checked out.

Pool was being redone, had to walk over to the other hotel across parking lot. Our AC wasn’t working in the room right. Our room was between 72-74 degrees. Didn’t sleep much. Not much of a variety for breakfast.

Clean, good food. More variety for breakfast would have been excellent but it was tasty.

A "comfort height toilet" would have made it bettter.

Nice and clean

Large and comfortable room. Decor and fittings are pretty dated. The dresser drawer kept opening by itself which mean the room was either haunted or the floor wasn’t level. Decent breakfast with a waffle maker. Area isn’t walkable but it’s a short drive to the concord bars and restaurants.

The location was nice and the room was very clean. They allowed us to have our dog which was really nice. Parking was convenient.

The bed was really hard and the room was cold. I tried to adjust the temperature but had to ask management for help. When the heat did come on the register was really loud. When I took a shower my fingers got caught in the sliding door. We were also unable to close the curtains. The pool was under renovation and isn’t mentioned on booking.com. The evening staff seemed frustrated by me because I am partially deaf and couldn’t understand what she was saying. However she was very helpful with adjusting the heat and giving us an extra blanket. Our entry cards stopped working when we went out for the day. The day staff was very helpful and friendly. They directed us to Weirs Beach which was excellent and dog friendly so that was nice.

They were going through renovations at the hotel, which the pool was closed and parking was very hard
