Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa

Location was great. The view out of our window was spectacular. Enjoyed the sound of the waves and could see so much wildlife from our room.

The room is modern, nice, big, and very clean. The rooms have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The rooms towards the street can be loud at night, you can hear cars roaring down the street. It does tend to quiet after 9 pm.

Location is great

Some rooms could be loud if you're sensitive. Ask for a quiet room if you need it.

The location of the hotel was great and had beautiful scenic views. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Most staff was friendly and accommodating.

One of our first encounters with staff, a valet, was kind of uncomfortable for my husband and I. He was rude to my husband while I was inside checking in and getting our keys. When I came out, he saw me, ignored me and continued checking in other guests that were just pulling in. I hope that it was just a misunderstanding, but it made us feel uncomfortable. We had to take two elevators and walk a long way to get to our room. We were not too impressed with our dinner at Schooners. The staff was very friendly, but our waitress could have been more attentive for the price we ended up paying. The food was ok but nothing special. I guess we were paying for the beautiful view and not the quality of the food.
