The Half Moon Inn and Country lodge

Had visited before when seeing family but only stopped for evening meals so we knew the food was excellent. This time we stayed for 2 nights. Very good continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Friendly staff who showed an interest without being nosey.

Having been used to a king size bed at home we found the double bed rather small! Took a while to sort out the heating which proved to be too hot for our likes but would probably suit some. Very minor dislikes.

Tv was too high on to watch without straining the neck

Lovely thick duvets great for winter but much too hot fir summer.

Very comfortable and clean, lovely accommodation and friendly staff. Had a great evening meal there, very well priced and good quality and big portions

Breakfast was only continental

Room was lovely staff in the evening were lovely

Could have done with a little more time in the morning aswell were so tired from travelling but felt a little pressured to leave, felt invisible to morning staff

the rooms were easy to get to and felt comfortable to come and go as pleased as there not in the main house loved the court yard out side the rooms

rooms could do with a bit of a update but clean and comfortable and nice bathroom
