Golden Apartments El Gouna

Andrew is the only helpful team member on the golden apartments team and he tried to make up for all the horrible things we faced during our stay.

First off, once I booked the apartment on booking.com, Rania from reservation team texted me and sent me a location on WhatsApp that turned out to be 10 mins away from the real location and we wasted a lot of time figuring out the correct location. Avoid taking any info from Rania. When I asked her to speak to someone from the golden apartments management team, she completely ignored my message. Secondly, The apartment is poor and not convenient on the below fronts: 1. Location wise, waterside is far from everything in Gouna except the gate. It’s almost in the desert which means it’s very hot in the morning and really cold at night. 2. We booked ‘balcony’ thinking it’s 1 floor above the terrace. Turned out they gave us a second floor which was not convenient for us. When I asked Rania about that she said that’s what u booked on booking while this was never clear on booking. 3. The apartment has No place to hang wet towels in the bathroom - we have to go out to the balcony at night and allow all the mosquitos in. 4. No means of mosquitos defense- my little baby got eaten up the first night by mosquitos and only the second day when we told them they sent us some mosquitos defense. 5. There are no night stands (commode) in the bedroom. 6. The AC remote control is not working. 7. The TV was not working but when we told them they came to fix it the next day.

Rien a dire

Bon emplacement, jacuzzi propre, piscine impeccable, calme. Vue très dégagée. ADEL , gérant, nous a donné toutes les infos à l'arrivée ( restos, tuk-tuk) par WhattsApp . Nous avons été autorisé à rester jusqu'à 14h ( check-out 11h), ce qui a été très appréciable avec des enfants en bas âge ; merci à lui. Je recommande WATERSIDE APARTMENTS

La literie dans chambre parentale est impeccable, par contre toute celle des lits 1 place est en très mauvaise état et très inconfortable.

The apartments have a good location, the pool and the lake are clean, the place was very clean upon arrival, the kitchen is well equipped, and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay.

The kitchen is missing some items, the main bathroom’s hot water is weak even after maintenance, the living sofa needs maintenance , and the garden gate sliding wire needs fixing.

Amazing customer service from Abnoub. Private and quiet space. Nice outdoor space with terrace. Beautiful infinity pool.

The apartment is good from outside, balcony has good view and acceptable facilities like kitchen, Aircon etc.

The apartment was not cleaned before check in. Balcony was full of dust, inside the room the floor was dirty. The towels had stains on them, god knows the bed sheets.

Waterside is not nice at all
