Very much enjoyed our stay!! Rooms were clean and relaxing!! Great location!!

This hotel is wonderful. On Decatur St two blocks from Jackson Square in the French Quarter. Several old buildings and a super attentive staff. Rooms with all the amenities and atmosphere to boot. My 5th stay there over 25 years. It can’t be beaten!

the room didn't have a lot of light in it at all and it was reaaally noisy in the mornings from the staff. not a lot of noise protection in the rooms

The bedroom door of my room lets in light because it’s short, so I placed a towel under the door to block out the hallway light.

We found blood on our sheets and all they did was send us up a pair of new sheets and have us change the sheets and make the beds ourselves, super disgusting and gross. the room had no windows. kinda small.

Property was very nice and clean! Nice room! Great location. Quiet. Parking is across the street but it was not a problem.

Room not serviced first day, done the second and they came late on third and only emptied garbage. No microwave in room either.

I really debated about where to stay in New Orleans my first time here. I am SO glad that I read the reviews and chose this place. The entrance is very inconspicuous, but don't let that dissuade you from booking here. The staff were very friendly and led me to my Petite Queen room on the third floor. It was just charming and could easily accommodate a couple. The bathroom had a great shower and was very spacious. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and I felt totally safe as a solo. There is a lovely courtyard that you can see from the walkways to the rooms and it was very peaceful despite knowing the front of the hotel is right on Decatur Street. Jackson Square, the original Cafe du Monde and the stop for the Hop-On Hop-Off are only 2-3 blocks away. Bourbon Street is also less than a 15 minute walk away. I chose to pay the extra to park my car during my stay, I highly recommend this. The parking lot is directly across from the entrance, but beware one thing. The lot is monitored constantly and if you park illegally, they will boot your car. There were no spaces on the street outside the entrance when I arrived, so I parked my car in the lot and ran in to check-in. When I told the girl at the desk, she immediately asked for my license plate number to try and get it in the system before they put a boot on, that's how quick they will do it. Fortunately, we did it fast enough that I wasn't penalized. So, if you see a space on the street at the entrance, or can drop someone else off to check-in, that's your best bet. My car sat in the lot for three days and was safe and I had no issues. If I ever come back to New Orleans, you can bet I will stay here again.
