Duas Portas Townhouse

Lovely place in great location. Near beaches and with public transport just outside the hotel. Staff were super nice. Room delightfool and bathroom really cool. We will stay there again if back in Porto.

That we had to go

this is not my first time at Duas Portas: i am a return visitor for a reason! The place is extremely pleasant and comfortable. Simple yet elegant design. Comfortable beds and pillows guarantee a good sleep. Bathrooms are practical and well conceived. The place does not feel like a hotel, it is a true guest house. It is easy to park in the street (for free) and the proximity of the river is really great for a morning walk. Room 8 is my favorite, although with construction going on in the next plot, it may be noisy during weekdays for a few months. Top floor rooms facing towards the river are also really nice (Rooms 5 and 6). The house is managed by nice and courteous people who really make you fell at home.

the quality of the tea could be improved - Tetley bags are not up to par with the discreet refinement and elegance of Duas Portas.

I liked pretty much everything. Welcoming and professional staff, outstanding breakfast, quiet, easily accessible location and a very thoughtful and lovely designed environment. On my next visit to Porto I intend to stay at Duas Portas Townhouse.

Virkelig cool sted med venligt og utrolig hjælpsomt personale. Townhouset er godt placeret ift vandet, restauranter og de gamle sporvognslinjer 1 & 18.

This place felt luxurious and was such a great value! The king size bed was comfortable and the room had a view of the terrace. Included in the stay was port wine, beer, and soft drinks, as well as a delicious breakfast with toasts, yogurt, eggs, and fruit. The private garden was so serene in the evenings and a lovely space for a night cap. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The only downside is this is a bit outside of downtown Porto. We ended up taking Ubers everywhere, though there is a bus stop across the street.
