Caruso sea view

A really nice well kept room with a lovely bathroom. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Was lovely to hear the waves, that sent you to sleep .

As we stayed there in November , it was quite cold , so I’d like to suggest you put a thick blanket in the wardrobe for people who feel the cold a little more ! That was the only negative .

Lovely location, very clean. Comfortable bed.

From the advert pictures we thought we would have a better view, other than a high up window. There were no extra blankets and it was very cold at night, there was only a sheet and one very thin cover on the bed. There were lots of steep steps up to the room. A warning about the amount of steps up to the property would be advisable and the fob to turn on the hallway light did not work, so we used our phone torch.

There were many many stairs. No one on property to assist you. Very moldy walls, bathroom shower and a/c had terrible mold. The A/C did not work. When the owner contacted said he’d be by tomorrow which we were gone. Never compensated our stay. All he was interested in was getting paid. We felt he just considered it normal until the next poor person.

Be aware there are four flights of stairs to walk up. It is not an easy climb. The headboard is dirty & peeling & it transfered onto our clothes, skin & hair. The cover on the bed is very pilled & poor quality. Beautiful location over looking the sea.

EXTREMELY false advertising. Must be fake photos. a common area patio with chairs, sofas, etc outside - did not exist a restaurant that you could sit at - did not exist in the bathroom - a makeup mirror - was broken off and wasn’t there so it did not exist bidet - did not exist bar - did not exist air conditioning - the heater was broken so the hot air did not come out. said there was a picnic area - there was absolutely not. The stairs did not have handrails - only at the very top apartment - the rest of the stairs did not Place is very misleading - had to walk up at least 5 flights of stairs. at night the entrance is not lit and there are no lights you can turn on, so it is very hard to see. the place was dirty - could tell they didn’t clean very well. in the bathroom - the toothbrush holder had dirt in it, as well as beard trimmings. The inside of the shower - you could tell the rim of the shower was not cleaned very well. before we even took a shower, there was water stains on the shower. and some other dirt details in the shower. the towels - were disgusting. We received towels with stains on them. they didn’t look cleaned. they are white towels - at least use bleach? they had weird red stains as well as dirt looking stains. we did ask for a new set of towels, which they brought the same day - although the towels they brought were not clean either and had several mysterious stains/dirt marks on them.

Close to waterfront drinks, restaurants, beautiful views. Modest beach. Friendly, hardworking people. Long, winding paths to new neighborhoods. Super seafood, pizza and wine.

Difficult to get to. Unforgiving, dimly-lit stairs at the back of the marina. In the top floor unit, you are guaranteed to bang your head on the sloped ceiling. Eschew this property if you have bad knees. Plus, they will charge you in full the very moment you make your booking, no refunds, nada. And you'll never see a soul - no one to say hello - no one - instead, "they" send you a confusing video. Good luck with it.

Grand Marina is an old fishing village in Sorrento. It is beautiful and also still a working port where fisherman unload at night sometimes right in front of your table. This room overlooks the marina. It also has a very comfortable memory foam mattress. Please note there are 55 stairs to this room. To get to the main part of the town of Sorrento you need to walk 15 minutes uphill. We still loved being by the beach and we did an ocean kayaking trip that was fun!

Agostino and his staff were very responsive and helpful. Location was unbelievable, amazing views and right on the water on Marina Grande.

Property was quite rundown, walls were ripping off, water damage and floor damage, and the AC didn’t work the first night, was leaking and making some noises the second night. Towels were not too clean. However, the staff was very responsive, replaced the towels and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nice property. Lots of stairs. Taking luggage up was a challenge.

In the middle of the night the cleaning service cleaned the other areas. Not our room. They were banging and talking very loud for what felt like forever after 1am.
