I am not picky by any means but this place is a no for me next time we visit. I read reviews and felt like the things people were disliking weren’t a big deal so we gave it a shot. The first room we got had air that wasn’t working. They quickly moved us a few rooms down. The air was great in that room. Both rooms were dirty. The doors on the bathrooms don’t lock. One is completely missing the insides of the lock. These are simple cheap fixes. The doors are also falling apart. The keys to get into both room doors only worked sometimes. I had to continue to get them rekeyed to get back in. I can say the front desk staff was always friendly and helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to check out 1 hour later on the last day. I left a medication in our first room and had to go back in to see if it was still there. He said it was cleaned and wouldn’t be there. I knew from the way these rooms were cleaned that it was probably still in the refrigerator and it was there. The floors are dirty and the sink, toilet and tub are dirty. I wouldn’t dare take a bath here. The amount of people smoking cigs and marijuana in this place is ridiculous. You cannot be outside for more than an hour without smelling pot. People are sitting outside their rooms smoking nonstop and it comes straight into the other rooms. will probably not choose another motel style entry place again. The only good thing I can say is the bed was comfy. I slept good every night. Dennys is next door but if you go late at night be ready for the meth heads to come in. I have always loved Crystal River and we have stayed in many motel style places that are not high quality by any means but this one leaves me being very selective when I choose a motel. This room averaged 140 a night for the five nights we were here. It is more of a 70 a night room. They could fix so many little things here to make it better. The pool is nice but the nonstop pot in the air ruins it.
