Courtyard by Marriott Greensboro

I’m a Platinum Elite member and had to cancel my stay at Courtyard Greensboro due to a rescheduled meeting and a family matter. I canceled with more than 24 hours’ notice, yet was still charged a $178 cancellation fee. I spoke with Amy, who cited a 72-hour cancellation policy but showed no flexibility or empathy. Her tone and unwillingness to work with me reflected the many negative reviews I’ve since read about this property. The manager, Danielle, followed up but also refused to waive the fee despite my loyalty status and the circumstances. I’ve had to cancel last-minute at other Marriott properties and have never once had an issue. This was the first time I’ve encountered such rigid and inconsiderate service, which is disappointing coming from a brand I’ve been loyal to for years. As a frequent business traveler, I would not recommend this location.

Customer service was excellent. Room had a musty smell and shower backed up.

Too expensive. They charge for everything. And if you have to leave early, they still charge you for the room.

Room smelled like mold. Extra bed couch was dirty. Every thing else wasù

Nice breakfast. Room was adequate.

Good location for my activities in Greensboro. Quiet and clean, cafe opened at 6 am.
