The Bolthole

Pretty much everything. Love the location. Love the house. Love the silence. Love the amenities. Could stare at those Hazards for days. Close proximity to hiking. A hop, skip and jump to fish and chips. Better view than Freycinet lodge. Would stay here again for sure.

That my stay was too short. Also, The other bedrooms were on the bottom floor - fine if you are travelling with friends, not great if you need to be close to your scared kids. I like to know property access instructions at least a day out for planning and reassurance purposes or at least receive a confirmation email saying when I will receive property access instructions. I did have to send a request on the morning of my stay to get entry instructions. Minor gripe.

Spacious, clean, well stocked kitchen, good WiFi, great views, fully equipped accommodation.

Main bedroom on level 2 could have been a king bed instead of a queen bed, for extra comfort.

House was good. Letting agency came across poorly. Request for slightly late checkout was rejected out of hand - they said the house was let that same night and they needed to clean, but online booking showed house was NOT rented and Coles Bay was dead as a doornail while we were ther with most houses dark at night so the cleaning staff were certainly not busy. If you Google them you will find they refused refunds during COVID.
