Linden Row Inn

Best downtown location, especially for attending concert at the Allianz Amphitheatre, just a short 15 minute walk. Very friendly staff, large spacious rooms, quiet peaceful stay.

The hotel was a good value. It has a charming courtyard and the room was very clean. We thought the staff was very accommodating.

It might have been our individual room, but it was very small and seemed more basic (like a modest chain hotel) than we expected. That said, it was very inexpensive so maybe that should have been the tell.

We attended our nephew’s wedding in the garden courtyard. which is lovely. My husband and I and many in the wedding party stayed at the Inn. It was all beautifully decorated with antiques with a nod to Edgar Allan Poe, who supposedly played in the gardens as chiid. The employees were very courteous and helpful, our beds were extremely comfortable (new mattresses) and rooms were clean. And delightful bonus is the presence of the lovely feline, Annabelle (named after the heroine from Poe’s famous poem). We highly recommend this lovely, historical inn.

Great location, loved the courtyard and the historic row homes converted to a got. Best part is the hotel cat Annabelle.

I love this place! I stay every time I go to Richmond. The staff are lovely, the rooms are comfy, and Annabelle the Cat is a friendly fuzzy face each time.

The location especially the history of this historic American Inn of Richmond Virginia is one of the coolest I've ever stayed at in america. I put it up there with the Andrew Jackson hotel in New Orleans

Do NOT stay on the ground floor of the "Garden" section, unless you like voluminous plumbing sounds when someone staying on the second floor does anything in their bathroom, or walks around, etc. Also, walls were very thin, so TV playing in the adjacent room is disturbing. Fortunately, it was turned off at a not unreasonable hour.
