Hilton Birmingham Downtown at UAB

We have stayed at this hotel 20+ times over the last year due to my wife going to UAB. When booking on-line from their website, you can add an "additional guest" so that they may check-in when the person that makes the reservations does not go. The staff always gave my wife issues checking in if I was not there. If you make reservations, don't hold your breath. We had reservations for 2.25.26 that were made on 2.21.26. On our way to Birmingham, I received a call from the hotel asking if we still needed the room? I told them yes, we were on the way. When we got to the hotel, the hotel management cancelled our reservations anyway. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Do not recommend staying here. It is way overpriced as well.

Staff was rude. Room was filthy. Food in the restaurant was subpar. Phone in the room didn’t work.

Some of my co-workers were to come in for a trade show, but weather prevented it. We had a marketing item shipped in advance, and Tracy F. helped us retrieve it, and get it shipped back to us by UPS. Terrific service, thank you!

Customer service was bad

It is super convenient to the UAB campus. My daughter is an athlete and loved seeing the updated UAB pics on the wall.
