Natural place on beautiful Treasure beach. Super wifi. Nice trip to Black River by boat.

Being out in the dark, getting scared of people and feeling as if there was a curfew.

Location ,room was super clean ,the host was super amazing.

Everything was perfect,it reminded me about growing up in Jamaica.

There is a bed, a bathroom, and you can lock the door.

I had stayed there before and knew the room would be very basic but I wasn't expecting cockroaches! As it's the Caribbean, they were huge. I made the discovery while lying in bed, as one ran across my arm. I moved my pillow (expecting a lizard, as I had seen one on the ceiling) and there was the roach, that I managed to kill. Later I saw another one in the bathroom. Then in the morning one ran out from under my flip flops, then another died on top of the second bed. I changed rooms (went to another building) at 6 a.m. as I had barely slept and only had booked 2 nights. At no time was the owner sympathetic or apologetic. Due to the early hour I had communicated via the app and he told me I shouldn't have "sent so many messages". The next day he was really angry, and said the town was small, and everyone knew each other, so why was I telling people there are cockroaches at his place. I offered to send him the photos, and said he obviously knew abouy the issue (as one died so they had been spraying) and asked him why he still kept that room available. He didn't have an answer. The next night there was a party at a local bar, with 4 towers of speakers about 12 feet high. The sound was averaging 80 decibles in my room. It was constant, from 6 pm to after 2 a.m. so now I can't even reccommend the neughbourhood. This is the worst accomodation experience I've ever had in my life! I doubt they will publish my photos but I will post them.

Fridge, stovetop and kitchen sink were welcome benefits.The bed was comfortable.There was a fan and the windows opened fully for a nice cross breeze. The view from the back porch was excellent. It's so close to the ocean, and very close to Jake's and restaurants and stores. Water was always available and the right temp for a shower. There is an outlet next to the bed (to charge your phone).

You will hear the upstairs neighbours chairs scrapping the floor, and it's loud enough to wake you. An electric kettle, or even a regular kettle would be great, otherwise you have to use a pot, and there is only a tea towel to hold it with. The bed is great but in the Jamaican heat really need cotton sheets. The ceiling is terrible, it"s a dirty grey and badly in need if some paint. The proximity to Jake's is a mixed blessing during the Calabash fest, as the whole yard turns into a parking ground. The back railing needs repair, the towel rack needs replacing. A general refresh would be a huge upgrade. My room was small, but I only slept there, so it didn't really matter.

Excellent location, near the beach and the small community, with groceries very close by. The exterior is beautiful, the view to the beach as well, the rooms are decent with most things needed found inside. An excellent value for money for Jamaican standards, for sure you come again.

The rooms were not very clean, and the toilet can be better. The mosquito net was not fit entirely the bed and there were not any tablets. But beside these, the place is nice

The infratructure of the place is a little bit outdated. But this does not have to be a problem. Nice surroundings, beautiful scenary at the beach. Place was ok fir the price.

Need better up keep. Could be a cute little property. Loved the location and the view.
