The staff was incredible, super friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave the property 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pool was indoor - an outdoor pool would have given this experience a 5 star all around.

We had a wonderful stay here for 4 nights while we went to Comic-Con. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive all throughout our stay. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff checked in by text to see if we needed anything after noticing we put the Do Not Disturb sign on our door one day. Very responsive. Extra waters were sent up at every request and arrived quickly. The food at the restaurant was tasty (recommend the Carnitas tacos) even if the portions were a bit small. The bartender, Vernon, was delightful. We only wished they offered room service and stayed open a bit longer but it was not a hardship to retrieve it ourselves. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom quite large. We had everything we needed. The walk to the Gaslamp Quarter was very doable and we even walked back and forth to the waterfront Convention Center without hardship. This was our second stay and we'll be back for sure!
