Nice friendly staff can’t be more helpful

Lovely surroundings and gorgeous beer garden. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Although it was the small double room, it was adequate for a 1 night stay. Nice touches such as fresh milk available to take up to the room if you asked and extra towels available on the landing, if required. Evening meal was really good and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Enjoyed our stay and would book again

As mentioned in other reviews, the shower was weak but I understand from talking to staff that the new owners plan to upgrade the bathrooms.
