Lovely place, really helpful and friendly staff, excellent breakfast and comfy beds in the room. Beautiful pub garden at the back too with views over the river.

A perfect small village pub next to a river with a beer garden, good ales, wines & freshly cooked food.

The village of West Tanfield is just lovely. We stayed at the Bull Inn which is located on the river. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival. Check was swift and the room spacious, clean & well designed. We also had dinner (remember to book) in the restaurant in the evening. The food was superb with friendly service. Overall we would definitely visit North Yorkshire again, it is stunning! and we wouldnt hesitate to stay at the Bull Inn. Wonderful stay. Thank you
