Le lit était un peu trop étroit pour nous, et l'horaire du déjeuner servi a partir de 8h30 ne nous convenait pas, car nous préférons quitter l'hôtel plus tôt.

Lovely pub in a wonderful setting. Food is good and the beer well kept. The riverside garden is a delight. The local walks are perfect at this time of the year. Lots of birdlife and wonderful floral shows.

No power in the shower

What a little gem! We stopped for the night on the way back from Scotland on a motorcycle tour and were delighted with the warm friendly reception and large well furnished rooms. The food is outstanding and I can highly recommend the steak & ale pie, it’s the best I have ever had. All the staff are very friendly and made a big fuss of my friend’s dog (yup, it travels on the bike). We will certainly be staying again if we do a return trip to Yorkshire.

Charged £15.00 for our dog, spaniel, for the one night which seems expensive. (No dog biscuits etc which some dog friendly hotels provide). Disappointed no mention of this cost when I phoned the Bull Inn direct to confirm they take dogs. A little corner shelf overlapping each bed which would be better moved further down the wall for safety when sleeping.
