"Average food, water turnoff with no warning, inflexible"

The hotel turned off the water the morning of my business trip. There was no alert or notificaiton, so I was not able to shower before my client meetings that day. I went to the lobby to use the restroom on my way out and couldn't wash my hands, again because of no water. I wanted to speak to a manager but the line was so long, I had to let it go. I like the location of the hotel as I have to travel to Overland Park for client meetings. The food is very much average, but the location is fine. Now, a few months later, I booked another business trip to stay at this hotel for 1 night, and they will not let me cancel even though my checkout time is 6 days out. I will find a new hotel to stay at when in KC...too many options to put up with this sub-par hotel.
