The location was excellent, right in the middle of town. The bar in the basement was warm and the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink. Enjoyed reading the history of the hotel. The rooms were soundproof which gave a very good night's sleep. Bed was extremely comfortable and shower fantastic.

Apart from bar staff, only saw one staff member when we arrived, who gave us our keys, never to be sighted again.

The hotels history is fascinating. All of the old mill foundations and machinery is there to look at. The staff are so friendly and knowledgable. Ill definately stay there again next time we are down that way.

The price was a bit more than i thought we should pay we can get hotels with a spa and a generous sized room for $250 and we payed $350 with no spa just a private bathroom
