Suite time Van Gogh

First time in Catania and for sure not the last. Stayed 7 nights with family and the accomodation in Suite time Van Gogh was perfect, especially the owner Mr. Gaetano, a rare kind of host, was wonderful man and made our stay in Catania much pleasant.

Very kindly and helpful host Gaetano!!! We were there for second time. Apartment was clean, near the city center, comfortable, parking is free or paid (cheap).

We stayed with Gaetano mainly because of the good reviews, and we were not disappointed. He not only hosted us, but also became our friend. An extremely well-read and knowledgeable person, especially when it comes to the architecture of Sicily, but not only that. He gave us very useful tips on what’s worth seeing, where there are good places to eat, and how to use public transport to visit the places we wanted to see. The apartment he offered us is spacious enough and conveniently located (15 minutes to the bus station and 20 minutes to the city center). There is a PENNY supermarket nearby, and on Sundays, a fruit and vegetable market opens just 100 meters from the apartment. Highly recommended — you won’t be disappointed.

Nothing, really. We've had a perfect stay.

It is a beautiful, well-located, comfortable flat with a nice and friendly host, however, the windows are not restored and the sound-proofing is terrible, especially at the steet-side. If you sleep in this room, You will hear everything from the street like at opened windows. It is also special, that there is no flushing water in the kitchen.

The host was extremely helpful and friendly. He met and greated us in the night when we arrived. He presented the rooms and services, gave us recommandations about places to visit, where to eat and how to travel around cities like Syracuse, Taormina. He stayed in touch during the stay and made sure we had everything. To arrive at the accomodation, you can take the bus from Airport(ALIBUS) and get off at Piazza Giovanni Verga.

The location is great, close to the city center and within walking distance of all the main attractions of Catania. Gaetano, the host, is amazing, we had a very warm welcome, and he gave us many tips on restaurants, tours around Catania and Sicily and other suggestions for the stay! overall, lovely experience, would definitely stay at this accommodation again!
