Suite time Van Gogh

The host was very helpful and friendly, we felt very welcomed by him. The place is clean, with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Public transport is very accessible as there is a bus stop nearby, but we did not need it since the apartment is practically a short walk away from the city center. We were a family of 4 and felt safe in the area that the apartment is in. There’s also a coffee shop right by the apartment block which is perfect for a nice pastry in the morning. I highly recommend this place!

Few mosquitoes but the issue was fixed once the mosquito repellent machine was switched on.

Our host was very kind and attentive. We were able to check in much earlier upon arrival, which was a big help for us. He provided us with a lot of useful and interesting information which made our stay there and our trips was much more enjoyable and interesting. He also gave great tips on places to see and eat locally, and we learned a lot about the historical and cultural background of Catania. We could call him at any time if we had a question. We are very grateful for that, we had a great time. Thank you!

Close to everything but so quiet.

The location was pretty nice, close to everything, it was very safe, clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful and friendly, and is willing to help you with anything at any time.

The bathroom was pretty small but clean, some amenities are missing from the kitchen, for example a cutting board, but still it was just fine. And since the apartament is in the host's office, it can be a bit noisy in the morning. Also, lots of mosquitos.

The key is very inconvenient and very stressful. Three keys to three doors. One door isn't connected. The landlord will come to you immediately. Tell him his water heater is broken. Instead, he blamed me for saying there was water around the heater. Instead of fixing it, I took the heater away, and I didn't care if I had hot water. I'll go. I asked him to carry my luggage because I couldn't carry it. And he won't help me... I've been here for three days. It's very stressful. It's like I'm here to help him guard the house. Lock three doors. That lock is too backward. It's not easy to lock. It's hard every time. The rooms are nicely decorated and big enough. The host is very kind and the communication was excellent. Parking is very easy to find.

The apartment does not have a kitchen.
