Stunning location

Very clean, cosy, great food and drink

View from our room was wonderful, overlooked the harbour. Room was suitable for an overnight stay, bathroom was spacious but shower was tiny. Food lovely. Very busy inn, felt it lost the personal touch

The rooms were very cozy and comfortable. I paid for a Seaview and looked out into the harbour.

Having on site parking would have made it a bit easy to carry luggage. However we did park about 5 minutes away in the local car park.

Location excellent, , staff excellent, , cleanliness, food were good. Despite a problem with soundproofing we enjoyed our stay and were happy overall with the facilities. We would stay again but would request a quiet room.

We stayed in room 43 in the annexe. The building lacks adequate soundproofing which was an issue with noisy neighbours.

Nothing really! Perhaps the plumbing and decor was a little bit dated.

We always book one of the rooms with the balcony looking out on the harbour and its a lovely place to sit the room was clean and the bathroom huge in this room All the staff are helpful and welcoming and all work extremely hard

Great location

Car park too small but appreciate it can't be extended. Room no. 49 was tiny, only about a foot or so all the way round the bed so forever getting out of my husbands way and vice versa. Room was incredibly stuffy, on the ground floor so not super secure to have window open, there was a fan but not a lot of places to put it! Nice suitcase stand but unfortunately no floor space to put it. Ended up with suitcase balanced in corner and had to negotiate around it. Window overlooked where staff met at about 7am to talk about what they were doing for the day, so with window open this was very annoying. Breakfast on day 2 had no eggs, fried or poached and no pastries left despite there still being 30 mins of service left. Had to ask for more teaspoons. While having a shower on Saturday afternoon, I noticed a slug on the wall in the shower with me, it was about 1 1/2 inches long, alive and moving. When my husband got in the shower after me he flushed it down the plug hole, we then closed the shower door in case it made it's way up again. To watch telly while sitting on bed you had to turn your head a full 90 degrees as telly was on wall to the left of the bed. I don't feel this stay was value for money. We paid nearly £700 for 3 nights bed and breakfast.
