We had a great week in this wonderful hotel. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable. The location is amazing with a fantastic view over the bay. The resturant in the hotel is good and there is plenty of choice for breakfast. There are also plenty of good local resturants and bars and there is an excellent local bus service to Funchal. Ths takes about 30 mintes and costs E2.60 / person. The hotel staff will also advise about tourist attractions and are happy to book trips on your behalf. We rarely return to the same hotel, but we would definity visit here again and the climate in November was perfect for walking and sightseeing.

Everything was superb! The location of the hotel and the everyday view from the balcony on the bay was amazing. I'm gonna definitely miss that view! It is located in cute village, lots of good restaurants, shops, etc. Close to everything and also the bus connection to Funchal was good. The hotel room was clean and nice, the bed was comfy. Our small requests were solved in an instant without any problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Camara de Lobos turned out to be the prettiest coastal town on the whole island. And the Pestana Churchil Bay happens to be in the best location there. The stay was comfortable, staff friendly and the view amazing.

Breakfast could be more varied. Getting a fried egg for breakfast was not easy.

More than satisfied. Everything was great, the staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the family luxury room was comfortable. We will return again.

Flot beliggenhed lige ud til bugten og torvet. rigelig bilstøj om morgenen.

Restauranten på taget har den fineste beliggenhed men bærer ikke præg af at være nybygget. Dårlig plads ved buffetten og kedelig ukomfortabel indretning både ude og inde. Heller ikke praktisk og effektiv indrettet for personalet.
