Fontane Hotel

The area around the lake where the hotel located is quite nice. The stuff was super polite.

I had a very disappointing experience with my stay at Hotel Fontane. When I arrived, I was given keys to an apartment that was not at the hotel next to the beach as advertised but was instead located in the middle of a village near a busy road. This was not the experience I had booked or expected (it was never stated on the booking com that the apartment that I am booking is not in the hotel that they show on the images but somewhere else). The apartment itself had several issues: the air conditioning was not working, and the shower cabin was damaged. On the next day after our arrival, I spoke with the reception to address these problems. The staff at reception were very nice but unfortunately unable to do anything to help, asking me to wait until the manager arrived. I was told the manager would come in a few hours, but when I returned later, there was still no manager available. After waiting for approximately 5 hours, the manager finally arrived. She was also polite and assured me that I would receive a refund and that they would follow up with me. However, it's been two weeks, and I have received no communication or refund from them. It seems like their promise was just a lie. Overall, I would not recommend staying here due to the misleading information about the location, the poor condition of the apartment, and the lack of follow-through from the management. Potential guests should be cautious and aware of what they might encounter.

This was my second stay here, due to business meetings we arrived late, However, we received an email detailing the procedure for retrieving our door keys from a safe located in the car park. Upon our arrival, although the chef was departing, he graciously assisted us in accessing the safe and retrieving our key, which was immensely helpful. Despite the late hour, the restaurant was closed; nevertheless, the staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality by putting some food together for us, exceeding our expectations. Once settled into our room, I found it to be impeccably clean and comfortably appointed, featuring a balcony with a picturesque view of the lake. Furthermore, the breakfast offerings were of high quality, boasting a diverse selection to suit various preferences. Overall, I wish to express my appreciation for the outstanding service and attention to detail demonstrated by your staff throughout our stay. It is evident that your team consistently strives to ensure a memorable and comfortable experience for guests.
