Days Inn by Wyndham West Point

Very light breakfast

The walls were dirty . The room needed to be upgraded. There was a big blank ant that crawled on my bed.

June heat in room no ac was turned on. Took 1/2 hr to cool room. Room was dingy. Travel partner had a large sticky spot in the carpet in his room.

When I arrived on second floor with all bags in hand, my non-smoking room reeked of smoke. I reitterated the conditions to the motel agent and he assured me the room was non-smoking. After telling him three time the room smelled of heavy smoke, he moved me to a ground floor non-smoking room. Upon arriving to this room, the bathroom smelled heavily of smoke. Also, this property is located next to a hospital, and I awoke to every ambulance emergency. I called Expedia to receive a refund, and Expedia did not handle the situation in a favorable way. I will not stay at this location again. I doubt I book with Expedia again, as their customer service is horrible along with them not correcting their errors speedily or to my expectations.

Dusty, spider nest in the corners and underbed framework and floorboards. They had minmal towels had to wait on laundering towels to get them back. Dog smell in room. Bed Covering were stained and ripped.

Ok it has a bunch of spiders in the room my daughter was crying all night with nightmares and it stated breakfast there was no breakfast and pool.

The perfume smell smacks you in the face when you walk into the room. It was so strong that we instantly started getting headaches. Luckily we have a big fan we carry on trips. So, we left the door open and ran it to clear out the room. (The smell never went away) There was dust EVERYWHERE, crumbs still on the chair from the previous guests and hair on the bathroom floor. The heating/air unit was filthy and covers in thick dust. After a 5-hour drive, we had to go to the store to buy cleaning supplies so we could clean the room that we paid to stay in. I wiped down the TV and the top of microwave, the dust was black. We didn't even bother bringing food back because we didn't want to use the microwave and couldn't even walk around the room without shoes on. Once we settled for the night, I put the "Do not Disturb" sign on the door. The next morning we were trying to sleep in a little before having to heading out. We were woke up by housekeeping even after the sign was up. We gave our dirty towels to housekeeping and never got new ones. We had brought towels, but needed some to step on after the shower. It had gotten cool the last night, so we turned on the heat for the first time. My partner woke up and saw roaches in the bathroom. We stayed here because it was in our budget last minute. We didn't expect anything high end, we're staying at the Days Inn not the Hilton. Cosmetic damage isnt a big deal, but cleanliness is. It doesn't take much to be clean. Never again

My stay at Days Inn was as i expected it would be as an average stay.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient place to stay as we pass thru on our trip to the coast. Price is reasonable.
