The lady bartender was a wonderful person.

Stains on bedsheets, lobby felt like a train station, noisy and crowded. At breakfast, the worst coffee in the entire universe.. I really dont get why someone would choose to serve that when a decent coffee and a decent coffee machine does not come with a huge cost..

Ibis style (all that you need, no extras), spacious with a big desk to work and air condition to fight the heat. This hotel has a special setting: the building is shared between Ibis & Mercure (both Accor hotels). So the first three floors are the Ibis and from four onwards it is the Mercure. All hospitality facilities including breakfast, snack bar and restaurant belong to Mercure. So if you choose the breakfast option you eat in the same restaurant. Great value for money, a few minutes walk (and hundreds of steps) from the Castle.

The offer the room as a twin option but although the beds are 10cm apart I could not push them together, so i was confined in a single bed. Also no shampooing or conditionner, only body wash in the shower.

I love the way they provide bottled water for us and let us use the water cooler ourselves to help preserve the environment and stuffs. I also traveled to another country, so I asked some staff whether I could leave my luggage there, and every time I asked for help, the staff were always helpful and willing to assist me. The hotel was near trams and buses, and not far from Fisherman’s Bastion. I enjoyed walking there almost every day. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it ! and hope that one day I’ll come back and visit Castle Hill again.

I hope the breakfast will be more varied and include a wider selection of food, since I noticed it mostly consists of bread, eggs, sausages, and some fruit. During my stay, I only saw infused water available. And I personally don’t like it because it contains cucumber. I hope there will be more options, such as still water or regular tap water.
