Sonesta ES Suites Atlanta - Perimeter Center North

Quiet, spacious rooms and very friendly, responsive hotel staff. The rooms didn't feel clean - there was a huge cigarette stain on the kitchen table and the furniture materials was not comfortable at all. Breakfast options were limited and uninviting. The stay was fine but I'll definitely look for another hotel next time I'm in the area.

Upon getting to our rooms, both smelled really old and stuffy as if it wasn't aired out. My roommate's sinus came down almost immediately. We were given two other rooms. However, there weren't enough pots or pans to cook. The tv in the front did not work, nor did the iron. One of the door locks did not work and had to be repaired. Maintenance personnel leave at 4pm so should anything go wrong and need to be addressed, you have to wait til the morning. Our bathroom sinks did not allow the water to flow out and had to be addressed. Overall, it was horrible and I would never ever stay there again. TRUST!

Chose our stay based on the SONESTA brand….was very disappointed! It appears that the upkeep of this particular property is lacking. There was 1 agent on duty and she was already overwhelmed with complaints from patrons at 8am…I was 4th in line with 3 behind me!!

Stairs

We stayed here while a family member was scheduled for a serious surgery and expted to be here for at least 5 days so a 2 bedroom apartment style room was perfect to also watch after elderly parent. Campus was aittle dated and needed exterior cleaning due to the wooded area. Some posts were worn and needed replacing. Interior was acceptable although housecleaning has missed some areas behind tv on the dresser. One bath was out of shower gel and rooms only serviced once a week but you could swap out towels, etc at desk. We didnt realize there was no elevator which was difficult for elderly family member. Staff was wonderful, professional, helpful and breakfast bar was fabulous.

The most unsafe environment my child has ever been placed in. She’s 16 and was afraid to get out of the vehicle. Upon arrival, the entire place reeked of marijuana. The front desk had lost our confirmation, even though we previously paid a deposit. They later informed us the pool does not work, and it hasn’t worked since 2020. After we finally received keys to the room, we drive back to building 9. Pulling up, we could not pull into the parking spot due to children’s belongings scattered everywhere, car seats, clothing, toys, and trash. We locate our room and have to walk through several adults yelling back and forth. As we attempt to walk up to the room, (no elevators on site) we are approached by a gentleman asking for $100. I’m not even sure how we could have made it to the third floor with a newborn and luggage for 4 days. I immediately turn to my husband and say we are not staying here. We begin to load back up and witness another gentleman rolling aluminum foil, which he later then lit with a lighter and was smoking next to his child in the car. Our friends located downstairs below us walked in their room and immediately walked out due to the damage and smell. The door looked like it had been knocked down a time or 10. The room smelt like a cigarette and a joint. We approached the front desk and stated we were not comfortable and did not feel safe. She made the comment, “I wouldn’t stay here with my babies. This happens all of the time, I know exactly the family you are talking about.” Traveling from out of state for a young girls softball team, this should not be listed as a hotel for families. This is a true extended stay with a variety of live in guests. I would never recommend this style of hotel to anyone, especially this in particular. Someone needs to address this and make it a clean safe environment for guests and families to feel comfortable.

The room is big, but it not so clean the bedding is old.

It was cool

Expedia rated this property similarly to Executive Suites, and took our money in advance for the reservation. The rooms were filthy and smelled like a 5yr old ashtray. There was no maid service. The tub was stained and chipped. Fortunately the shower worked, but the light fixture above it was coming out of the ceiling with exposed wires. I could go on, but suffice it to say, I will not be using the Expedia service for hotel reservations again.
